Deadline is the new creation by Luxembourgish choreographer William Cardoso, which will premiere in November 2025. As part of the Expédition Grant, the artistic team is currently in residency at Le Gymnase. You are invited to discover the behind-the-scenes of this adventure by attending a work-in-progress showing, offering a glimpse of the performance in the midst of its creative process.

“Break the system to go somewhere else. Break to be reborn.”
Separation is a recurring event that marks our existence. Let’s go back to the origin of our existence: birth. When we come into the world, there is a rupture as we leave our mother’s body. This is our first physical separation. The umbilical cord that connects us is cut. Then, throughout our lives, we are confronted with ruptures. They may be friendly, sentimental, or related to the loss of a loved one.
