Matthieu Hocquemiller works on re-appropriating performances of the sexual, in parallel with those of nature, envisaging it as “the power of atonement, consolation, experience and becoming”. Invoking the goddess Circe, the choreographer stages a metamorphic rite, an ecopoetry disrupting appearances and going beyond identities. The piece is a perpetually changing sensorial exploration full of visual and sound effects.
