ANY ATTEMPT WILL END IN CRUSHED BODIES AND SHATTERED BONES

Show co-produced by Le Gymnase CDCN

The performance on 10 March is part of the programme of the Maison de la Culture in Amiens; the performance on 13 March is co-produced by Le Gymnase and Le Bateau Feu; the performance on 21 March is co-produced by Le Gymnase and Le Phénix.

Jan Martens takes over the “big stage” where he forms an atypical “corps de ballet”: on stage, 17 performers with unique personalities who differ in age, gender, origins, experience or dance. By cultivating its diverseness, this group resists the established order and dogmas of society, symbolised by the words of Chinese president Xi Jinping during the protests in Hong Kong: “Any attempt will end in crushed bodies and shattered bones”.
