Artistic Statement:
” La Brûlure la plus lente stems from a dizzying question: why dance in a saturated, fractured world where light blinds more than it illuminates? Faced with the numbness produced by speed, exposure, and the constant flow of images, we seek gestures capable of reintroducing night, shadow, and opacity—not to disappear, but to reclaim our capacity to perceive.
La Brûlure la plus lente explores how dance can embody a poetic and physical response to systemic transformations through a choreographic installation that stages a sensory fiction. As Florian Gaité writes: ‘Dance organizes the expenditure of the living; it orders the forms through which its superabundance is expressed, translating them into rhythms, phrases, poses, and figures.’”
