Mette Ingvartsen explores a physical memory from her youth: the speed and energy of moving on wheels. Transforming the performance space into a skatepark, the choreographer brings together a community of skilful gliders – young skaters and professional dancers – defined by the sheer hard work of individuals who try, fall, and get up again. Supported by live music and playing with gravity, the performers express their elation with rebelliousness and freedom.
