Sandrine Lescourant has her roots in freestyle hip-hop, the kind found on the streets and in battles. Although her career has been enriched by multiple influences, she remains viscerally attached to the instinctive, raw energy she calls Raw. The four dancers tell their stories through words and dance, in direct contact with the audience. Driven by the same passion, they trace the contours of an authentic culture, far from clichés.
