Hot potato. A woman in an apron peels potatoes to the tune of a fado. Beneath the domestic calm, anxiety simmers. Catarina Barbosa loses control: vegetables fly through the air, her movements become disjointed, the straitjacket bursts open. Endowed with extraordinary flexibility, she becomes a strange form – Estranha Forma – which gradually breaks free and reclaims her body and her desires.
