Empowerment through dance. From his exile from Cameroon to his life as a dancer, Jacky Medefo refuses to be pigeonholed. Magda Kachouche has created a solo piece for him that blends ancestral African dances with popular culture, from waacking to music videos broadcast on MTV. Magnetic and radiant, Jacky charts his own course: A turning point for Jacky shatters all boundaries.
