Pole for Production and Distribution ?

On May 9, 2025, the Ministry of Culture launched 11 new “Pole for Production and Distribution”. Each of these initiatives brings together multiple cultural actors with the mission to create and circulate works in France and internationally.

And what about Le Gymnase?

Le Gymnase has partnered with four other organizations: L’échangeur (Château-Thierry), La Faïencerie-Théâtre (Creil), Les Rencontres chorégraphiques internationales (Seine-Saint-Denis), and La Maison Danse (Uzès), to create the Dance Childhood Youth Hub.

“Dance Childhood Youth,” you say?

Committed to young audiences, the five partners share a conviction: enabling new generations to engage with dance contributes to building a fairer, more inclusive society open to diverse artistic expressions.

But concretely?

Between 2025 and 2029, the hub will establish three activity units:

• Production/Distribution: support for choreographic projects (co-productions, commissions, delegated productions)
• Convergence/Visibility: organization of international professional meetings and creation of platforms to promote works
• Support/Training: training initiatives for artistic teams to share tools and strengthen sector skills
