Born from the partnership between Le Gymnase CDCN, L’échangeur – CDCN, La Faïencerie – Scène Conventionnée, the Rencontres chorégraphiques internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis, and La Maison danse CDCN, BIG propels bold artists and choreographic works forward.

Supporting the production and dissemination of choreographic projects through co-production, commissions, and executive production, focused on three key areas: Large-scale works, Projects in public space, Expanding the “Les mouvements minuscules” initiative dedicated to early childhood.

Strengthening skills across the sector by sharing tools with artistic, institutional, and cultural teams.

• Dance in Local Territories (La Danse dans les territoires)
  An immersive day for pairs of local elected officials and cultural directors to address the key challenges of dance within local territories. Through workshops, performances, and debates, this collective experience explores the role of choreography in public policy and its ability to connect residents. A gathering to share tools and rethink relationships with local communities.

Organising professional meetings and international platforms to boost the visibility of choreographic works.

• YOUNG — International Professional Meeting
  What horizons lie ahead for dance for children and young people?
• The YOUNG international meeting invites artistic teams, cultural organisations, and institutional partners to engage in a collective reflection on how dance involves young people in an active cultural experience. By crossing borders and exchanging perspectives, participants will explore new ways to foster civic engagement through art.
