On stage, dance takes over from the clashes and viral “diss tracks” that set social media ablaze. Loraine Dambermont seizes on this hyper-exposed, hyper-masculine phenomenon to turn it into raw, incisive choreographic material. Bodies clash, dodge, and counterattack in a nervous, explosive dance — as fast and razor-sharp as an Eminem flow. With her two partners, she blurs the codes of combat and sparks power where least expected. T’façon on est en 2012 (Anyway, it’s 2012): a show that hits hard and true.
